SSQG Meeting Minutes - March 21, 2013

Sassi Strippers Quilt Guild
Meeting Minutes
March 21, 2014
The meeting was called to order by president, Karol Guidry, at 6:40 p.m. Karol announced that the business meeting would take place after the program by our guest speaker.
Karol introduced Judy Holley who presented a program on Turning Photos into Quilts. Judy had many wonderful samples which she discussed in detail and passed around so that members could get a better look at her work. She gave a very good presentation on the steps taken to make a quilt from a photo. Many of her samples were of family pets and the information presented was inspiring for all of us.
Show & Tell:
Valerie Valle showed her 2012 Mystery Quilt from River City, Crystal Pyramids
Sharon Holder showed her wallhanging from a retreat with Ricky Tims in Colrado.
Desire showed her LSU quilt which was very appropriate for a girl.

Thanks, ladies, for showing your work.
