1. President/Call to order (Pam T. in for Sharon H.) – meeting at Jones Creek Library – 6:31 p.m.

2. Sign In, Welcome to Members and Guests – Guests present: Gayle Soileau, Becky Frederick, and Cindy Sullivan. Members present: Merlene L., Marilyn H., Karen W., Becky E., Cheryl M., Pam T., Valerie K., Robin, Linda Lala D., and Betty B.

3. Reading of the minutes and motion to accept – (Cheryl M.)

b) VP/Programming (Pam T.) – Future programs: October – Valerie, coloring on embroidery. November –Merlene, Magic Circle ruler demo. December – Christmas Party. January – Cindy Sullivan, Apliquick method for needle turn applique.

j) Charity Quilts (Merlene L. & Karen W.) – We currently have over 40 quilts for a potential delivery date in October. Cheryl M. donated some knitted hats to take along also. Keep making quilts and bears.

5. Program – Gayle Soileau showed the group how she crochets beautiful and functional rugs from one inch wide fabric strips.

September Meeting

 

Hello our talented beauties,

Hope we find all of you well and enjoying some kind of crafting!  We are having our Sassi Stripper Quit Guild Meeting at the Jones Creek Library on Thursday, September 15, 2022 at 6:30pm.  I will be filling in for our precious President, Sharon Holder at the meeting. 

Last month it was such a pleasure to work on the bears and for everyone to be able to visit with each other.  We accomplished so much with the bears at the August Meeting.  Several members also took some home to work , you ladies are fantastic! 

We will be having a very special Presenter for our September Program.  She is just as beautiful on the outside as she is on the inside.  Her talents are unlimited and her skills are impeccable.  Gayle Souleaux will be demonstrating, “Crochet Rag Rugs” for us.  We are so excited to learn and see this technique! 

So bring your UFO’s, Tabs, Bears , Show n Tell and join us for  some fun, creativity and fellowship!
