Founded in 2005 by quilters who wanted to share their love of quilting with others, our guild's purpose was to promote appreciation and interest in quilting and to provide educational opportunities. Reimagined in 2023 -- The Sassi Stripper Stitchers meets every third Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m at the Jones Creek Library. Come and go during that time. Work on any kind of stitchery. Sharing, show and tell, and fellowship.

February Meeting - 2/15/18 and Round Robin Challenge (Center Block/February Border)
I
have attached a copy of the instructions for the Round Robin
Challenge we are starting tonight.
I also have a printed copy to give to everyone. I think its
really going to be a fun and learning experience.

Round Robin Quilt Challenge
We will start with a center block- pieced, appliqued or panel. Every
month we will add a border to use a specific technique. The center
and first border will be due at the March meeting. There will be
additional borders each month through June. We will have July to
quilt and bind our quilt. If construction permits we will hang them
all at our August show.
Center Block Can be any size ( a panel would work ). 15”, 16’
or 20” blocks are also a good sizes.
Borders Any width border is ok. It just has to have the design
technique of the month as the border or in the border. Let your
creativity go wild!
February - Center block and a border featuring pinwheels. Learning
how to make half square triangles will get you started.
