Founded in 2005 by quilters who wanted to share their love of quilting with others, our guild's purpose was to promote appreciation and interest in quilting and to provide educational opportunities. Reimagined in 2023 -- The Sassi Stripper Stitchers meets every third Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m at the Jones Creek Library. Come and go during that time. Work on any kind of stitchery. Sharing, show and tell, and fellowship.

October Meeting
Hello
our talented beauties,
I
hope everyone is enjoying the cool weather! We have our SassI
Strippers Quilt Guild Meeting at the Jones Creek Library on Thursday,
October 20, 2022 @ 6:30pm. I will be filling in for our wonderful
President, Sharon Holder at the meeting.
Last
month was such a delight when Gayle S. shared her technique for
“Crochet Rag Rugs” with us. I am sure many of you have
added it to your to do list!
October’s program is, “Using Coloring Techniques for Embroidery”, it is going to be presented by our one and only, Valerie K. Valerie’s talents are abundant and her work is absolutely beautiful! October’s program will be a hands on demo as well, she has asked for you to bring your crayons including a white one, a hoop and a size 7 or 8 embroidery needle. Valerie will be supplying the rest that is needed. I have been looking forward to this class and I know everyone will enjoy learning this technique to be able to apply it to so many projects!
There
are many topics we will be discussing at the meeting so we would love
for everyone to attend. So bring your tabs, UFO’s, Show n Tell, and
join us for some fun, creativity, laughs and fellowships!
Humbly
yours,
Sharon
and Pam
