Founded in 2005 by quilters who wanted to share their love of quilting with others, our guild's purpose was to promote appreciation and interest in quilting and to provide educational opportunities. Reimagined in 2023 -- The Sassi Stripper Stitchers meets every third Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m at the Jones Creek Library. Come and go during that time. Work on any kind of stitchery. Sharing, show and tell, and fellowship.

November Meeting
Hello
our talented beauties,
We
hope you are enjoying the cooler temperatures that are just perfect
for quilting! We would like to wish all of you a Happy
Thanksgiving! We have our Sassi Strippper Quilt Guild Meeting
at the Jones Creek Library on Thursday, November 17, 2022 @ 6:30pm.
I will be filling in for our treasured President, Sharon Holder at
the meeting.
Last
month was so much fun when Valerie Z. Shared her knowledge and
techniques for “Using Coloring Techniques for embroidery”.
I know some of you brought your blocks home to complete, please bring
them to the meeting so we can share them. Our program for
November will be presented by Merlene Lewis. She has been an
incredible asset to the guild and to all the charities that we have
donated to for so many years! She will be sharing the “Magic
Circle Ruler“ technique with the guild. We are looking
forward to it.
We
still need officers for a couple of the positions for the 2023 SSQG
Board. Positions needed to be filled are the President and Vice
President. Please consider volunteering, you will have the
support of many members to help you throughout the year. Having
a board is the only way we can continue as a guild next year in
2023. Thank you for all that everyone has done for SSQG, y’all
are all such talented and amazing women!!!
I
have received confirmation from the following members that will be
attending the 2022 SSQG Christmas Party.
Pam
T, Cheryl M, Marilyn H, Merlene L, Karen L, Valerie K, Robin C, Cindy
S and Becky F.
Please
let me know if you will be joining us, so I can include you in the
final head count.
So
bring your UFO’s, tabs, colored embroidery blocks, show n tell and
join me for some fun, creativity and fellowship!
Sincerely,
Sharon
and Pam
