Founded in 2005 by quilters who wanted to share their love of quilting with others, our guild's purpose was to promote appreciation and interest in quilting and to provide educational opportunities. Reimagined in 2023 -- The Sassi Stripper Stitchers meets every third Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m at the Jones Creek Library. Come and go during that time. Work on any kind of stitchery. Sharing, show and tell, and fellowship.

August Meeting
Hello our talented beauties,
We hope all of you are well and have been able to get some quilting in!
We will be having our Sassi Strippers Quilt Guild Meeting at the Jones Creek Library on August 18, 2022 @ 6:30pm.
I will be filling in for our fabulous President, Sharon Holder, due to company she has coming in.
We want to thank our one and only, Cheryl Myers, for an amazing July program where she demoed the Pineapple Ruler by Gyleen Fitzgerald. This technique was so inspiring, everyone loved the blocks and quilts Cheryl presented to us. I think quite a few will be trying this technique, it looked so fun!
Our program for August is Bears, Bears, Bears Social! We will be working on our charity bears while having some social time. We will be stuffing bears, sewing butts, drawing faces on them, putting on ribbons and hearts. So all hands on deck, bring a sewing needle, neutral color thread, your stick to stuff with and a pair of scissors. So come on, bring your tabs, projects, UFO’s, show-n-tell and join me for some creativity, fun, laughs and fellowship!
Humbly
yours,
Pam

June Meeting
Hello ladies,
Hope all of you are doing well. We are looking forward to our meeting on Thursday at the Jones Creek Library at 6:30 PM.
I am delighted to tell you that Gail Soileau, quilter, rug hooker, and needlewoman extraordinaire will present our program. She will bring samples and demonstrate how to make crocheted rugs. It should be a fun, learning experience. I dabble in crochet but never thought of it for rugs.
Hope to see everyone there.
Sharon
