SSQG Meeting - Thurs July 16, 2015

Hello my talented beauties,

   I hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July!  We have our Sassi Strippers meeting on Thursday, July 16, 2015 @ 6:30pm at the Jones Creek Library.  I would like to thank Mary Felder for sharing her abundance of fiber art knowledge with us at our June meeting. It was so inspiring & educational for our guild members!  We are very excited that Gayle Soileau will be sharing her incredible gift of Rug Hooking with us at the July meeting.  She is a multi-talented artists & an amazing educator.  Gayle also hosts Hook-In's that are fun filled, educational & not to be missed!   Of course, the rest of this meeting will be focused on the Quilt Show for August, all entries are due at this time.  I will arrive early before the meeting to start collecting your entries for the quilt show.  I should be there by 6:00pm to take your entries early, this will allow us more time to play, so come see me then if you are available.  Please have your paperwork completely filled out & pinned to the appropriate entry.  This will allow us to do this step in a timely manner.  Please make sure your entry is clean, lint rolled & has a sleeve on your quilt when you turn it in to me.  If for some reason you can't attend the meeting & have entries to be turned in, please contact me on Thursday, July 16th to make arrangements.  Calling on my Quilt Angels for help for to hang the Quilt Show at the library on July 30 & 31.  It would be greatly appreciated, please let me know if you are coming so I know who to expect & get a game plan in my head for those days.  Please bring any rug hooking you have done to share with the guild, as well as your latest creations for show-n-tell.  Come enjoy another night of fun, creativity & fellowship!
