Founded in 2005 by quilters who wanted to share their love of quilting with others, our guild's purpose was to promote appreciation and interest in quilting and to provide educational opportunities. Reimagined in 2023 -- The Sassi Stripper Stitchers meets every third Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m at the Jones Creek Library. Come and go during that time. Work on any kind of stitchery. Sharing, show and tell, and fellowship.

January Meeting -- January 16, 2020
Hi
all,
We
will be meeting this Thursday, January 16 at 6:30 pm at Broadmoor
United Methodist Church at 10230 Mollylea Dr. in Baton Rouge.
The
minutes from Nov. are attached. There were none from Dec. since that
was our Christmas party.
I
have also attached the application form for the guild. It's time to
renew our dues for the upcoming year. Please fill out the form and
bring it along with your dues of $12. Fran will be collecting these.
Mynan
and Sharon will be giving us an introduction to the internet
challenge they have been participating in. It is called Patterns
by Jen Color Challenge. This will be interesting whether you are
moved to join the internet group or not. You never know where your
next inspiration might come from!
We
will also be playing Bingo. If you would like to participate, please
bring one fat quarter in either LSU purple or gold.
Happy
New Year! See ya on Thursday.
