Hello my talented beauties,

I hope everyone kept dry while we had rain, rain, rain & was able to slip in a little bit of quilting!  We have our Sassi Stripper meeting on November 19, 2015 @ 6:30 pm at the Jones Creek Library.  I am sending this email out early so everyone has plenty of time to mark their calendars.  I want to thank you so much for the quick response to my email concerning our Christmas Party for 2015.  The majority said that they would like to have our party at the library this year, so mark your calendar for our “SSQG Christmas Party” on December 9, 2015 @ 6:00 pm at the Jones Creek Library!  Sharon & I are so excited to create this party for all of you, needless to say our creative minds are already spinning with lots of fabulous ideas!!!  We will discuss the potluck/menu at the November meeting, so be thinking of your favorite party dish.  For the new members, the Christmas Party replaces the meeting that month, so there will not be a meeting on December 17, 2015.  Thank you all for helping with the sewing of the butts on the teddy bears & for taking some home to finish up as well.  You guys are awesome, Sassi Strippers are truly, Angels on earth!  I want to thank Sharon Holder for sharing with us the technique of folded Fabric Christmas Balls.  I also want to thank her on behalf of all the guild members  for suppling all of us with everything we needed to make our own personal Christmas Ball!!!  Thank you so much for your time & generosity!  It was such a hit & the members had so much fun that we decided that Sharon for the November meeting, will show us how to add embellishments & finish our Christmas Balls.  We will be voting on the Sassi Stripper Quilting Guild Board of 2016, so please come & let your voice be heard.  I have typed up the list that the library provided us with, it has the names of the books the children are currently reading,  So if you need an idea for a story time quilt, here are plenty of options.  Please see the pdf attachment & I will also be giving everyone a copy of the list at the November meeting.  Please bring any tabs or donations for door prizes to turn in.  If you have finished a UFO, please bring that as well.  Also, please bring anything you want to share with the guild for show-n-tell!  So come on, join me for the last official meeting of 2015 for another night of fun, creativity & fellowship!

Humbly yours,

Pam Tennyson😊
