Beauty II class Nov. 2nd with Judy Holley. Class supply list is
attached if you didn't see it before.

and Karol will be showing how to make port pillows for seatbelts
for patients with a port.
We
will also be hearing about the recent trip that Merlene, Monnett, and
Karen took to Paducah, KY, and see what all they brought back!

YORK BEAUTY II
CLASS
DESCRIPTION: Explore the possibilities by making a variety
of New York Beauty blocks with various sized points and arcs. Mix and
match the 8-inch blocks or choose a favorite and work with it. All
points are paper pieced and all curves are sewn, no appliqué.
SUPPLY
LIST:
- Sewing machine, all feet & extension cord
- Basic sewing supplies
- Rotary cutter, ruler & matt
- Paper scissors & fabric scissors
- Freezer paper & pen
- Small bag for trash
- Small 6” sq. ruler, opt.
- Iron & pressing surface (2 people to an iron if possible)
FABRIC:
To make scrappy blocks bring a collection of a dozen or more fabrics
you like in at least fat quarter sizes. Bring various sizes and
scales of prints: florals, plaids, checks, etc. Include lights,
mediums and darks, the usual scrappy mix. For the
points to show up you will fabrics with high contrast between the
fabrics in the points and the point backgrounds. The points will be
clear and distinct if these fabrics read as solids. Save the busy,
interesting prints for the larger sections of the block.
All
day class. 9-3. Bring lunch.
