July Meeting

 Hello my talented beauties,

All I can say is , WOW, it was so great to see everyone in person at our last meeting!!!  We had a total of 11 members attend the meeting in person or through zoom!  The Jones Creek Library is now open until 9:00 pm again.  Our SSQG meeting will be Thursday, on July 15, 2021 @ 6:30 pm.  We will be offering zoom as well again for the meeting.  I will be sending a zoom link out tomorrow.

Lots of creativity & quilting has been taking place during and after the stay at home order with COVID-19.  So many bear skins were done and turned in at the last meeting, it was amazing.  We are putting the bear skins on hold for now until further notice.  We also had a ton of charity quilts that were made during that time as well.  You ladies rock and never disappoint!

We were so excited to catch up with all the prizes that were owed to some members, whether it was for UFO or door prizes. through the end of June 2021!  With that being said, any donations you can bring to replenish our door prizes and UFO prizes, would be greatly appreciated.

Also, please bring your completed quilts to turn in at the July 15th meeting.  Make sure they have a label attached to the back of the quilt with Sassi Strippers Quilt Guild on the label.  If everyone would bring a needle, thread and scissors, just in case someone didn't have time to get their label on before, we can do it for them at the meeting.  I will bring a marker, scissors and muslin in case it is needed.

FYI, our year runs out for Zoom on September 18, 2021.  So, our last meeting to provide Zoom will be through September 2021.  We can discuss this at the July meeting to see if y'all want to renew for $149.90 or if it is not necessary to have by the October 2021 meeting and after anymore.

Please bring your tabs, UFO's, donations and Show 'n Tell to share with the guild members.  Of course I will always have a couple of tricks up my sleeve, can't wait to see all of you!  So come on, join me for some fun, creativity, laughter & fellowship!

Humbly yours,

Pam Tennyson
