President/Call to order (Pam T.) – meeting at library and on ZOOM – 6:58 pm.
Sign In, Welcome to Members and Guests – No guests. Members present: Merlene L., Karen W., Marilyn H., Karol G., Pam T., Cheryl M., Becky E., Donna E., Betty B., Robin C., and Valerie K.

VP/Programming (Dee J.) – no report
Secretary (Cheryl M.) – no report
Historian / Blog site (Marilyn H.) – the blog is up to date including minutes
Unfinished Projects (UFOs – Valerie K.) – Prizes earned by members through May 2021 were distributed. There were no UFOs for June 2021.
Tabs (Cheryl M.) – Pam brought a large bag of tabs.
Door Prizes (Valerie K.) – Door prizes were caught up and distributed through June 2021.
Just Do It (Pam T.) – Contemporary Fiber Arts of Louisiana (CFAL) exhibit at the main library through June.
Quilt Show (SSQG membership) – no report
Charity Quilts (Merlene L. & Karen W.) – continue to make quilts. Current quilt count: Merlene 15, Marilyn 6, and Karen 4. Merlene already had 185 bear skins. Bear skins were brought in by several members: Donna E. 47, Betty B. 52 and Marilyn H. 440. We do not need any more bear skins currently, as OLOL Children’s Hospital is not currently accepting bears.
Veterans Quilts (Sharon H./Mynan G.) – no report
Unfinished Business: N/A
New business: Members were asked to bring items for the UFO prize box.
Program – no program this month. Donna E. will give program on “How to Quilt Your Quilts” in August.
Show and Tell – Val, Betty, Donna, Becky, Karen, and Merlene.
Note: Val is using warm gray 4 glide thread for her embroidery project and Pelon SF101 stabilizer which gives it body and keeps back from showing through.
Announcements –
Members were requested to bring finished quilts for charities to July meeting.
Next meeting – Thursday, July 15, 2021 at library and on Zoom
